Facetite
What is FaceTite?
FaceTite is a minimally invasive procedure that provides improvement in skin laxity on the face and neck, which was previously only attainable through a surgical procedure such as a facelift. FaceTite utilizes radiofrequency technology to help reduce fat and tighten skin. It is often performed in conjunction with submental liposuction to create a more defined jawline and Morpheus8 to address textural concerns.
What areas can be treated?
FaceTite can address a variety of concerns, including double chins, sagging jowls, nasolabial folds, and other areas on the face and neck with deep lines and loose skin.
How many FaceTite Procedures are required for Optimal Results?
FaceTite offers significant improvement and effective results with just one treatment. Results continue to improve in the first six months post-procedure.
How is this better than a Facelift?
By avoiding the large incisions that come with the traditional facelift procedure, patients will benefit from reduced post-procedural swelling and discomfort. This is a less traumatic process, with less downtime, less cost, and a natural-looking result.
Is Anesthesia used during FaceTite?
Local anesthesia is used prior to the procedure to numb the treatment areas and ensure patients are comfortable throughout. Oral sedation medications and/or inhaled nitrous oxide (laughing gas) can also be utilized if patients choose.
How quickly will I see results?
You will begin to see improvement once post-op swelling resolves in 2 weeks. Final results will continue to improve for up to 6-12 months after the procedure.
How long do results last?
Just like with a traditional facelift, this procedure does not stop the aging process. However, results can last anywhere from 3 to 5 years. The treatment can be repeated in the future as aging continues.
What is the downtime?
Patients are asked to wear a compression garment for 5 days to help combat post-operative swelling. Once the swelling subsides, the tightened contours and more youthful appearance will start to become visible. Final results will continue to develop over the course of six months, as increased collagen and elastin production result in a continuous improvement in skin laxity.
