WHAT IS BRELLA?
Brella is the first-and-only FDA-cleared SweatControl Patch treatment to significantly reduce excessive underarm sweating and significantly improve quality of life in adults with primary axillary hyperhidrosis.
WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF BRELLA?
Brella significantly reduces excessive underarm sweating and significantly improves quality of life, including reducing embarrassment and frustration, and improving confidence. Sweat control can last up to three to four months, and longer in some patients.
WHO IS A GOOD CANDIDATE FOR BRELLA?
You may be a candidate for Brella if you experience any of the following:
- I have to re-apply my deodorant during the day.
- I shy away from wearing white tops and/or silk blouses because they show my sweat stains.
- I needed to change to a clinical strength deodorant because the regular strength didn’t seem to work.
- I worry about my underarm sweat when I am presenting to an audience as it may be noticeable.
WHAT CAN I EXPECT WITH BRELLA?
A quick, comfortable, and simple in-office treatment provided by a trained healthcare provider. We will apply one single-use, disposable SweatControl Patch to your underarm, for up to three minutes. The treated area may start to feel warm as the time passes, after the Patch is applied. You may also feel some sensations such as pins and needles or stinging, which is an indication that the Patch is interacting with your sweat. The Patch will be removed after the first underarm is treated and a new Patch will be applied to your other underarm.
You can expect a dramatic reduction with sweat production cut nearly in half after one single treatment. Reduced sweat production may lead to a reduction in the number of showers multiple times a day, high dry-cleaning bills, frequency of applying antiperspirant, need to frequently replace stained shirts and tops, or need to carry extra change of clothing.
